Regsus Consulting Private Limited (“Regsus” or “we” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and providing you with a positive experience while using the application and the website of Metal Intelligence Centre (MIC) (Collectively called “Channel”).

Scope and application
This policy applies to our Channel and provides you with guidance on your rights and obligations in relation to your personal information and data relating to your business that we collect through your participation in surveys.
What is personal information?

This also includes information relating to your businesses, GST details, etc that you provide to us to complete your profile.
How we collect information
We collect personal information during our online registration process. Your participation in surveys and polls also provides us with information about your interests, views, opinions, and also about your business.
Purpose and use of personal information
Regsus collects the personal information which is necessary for its legitimate business purposes i.e., collating information about the industry through surveys, analyzing and presenting them in useful reports. Regsus will always use this information only for the purposes of its collection.
Regsus may use your personal information for operational, legal, administrative, and other legitimate purposes permittable by law. Some of the ways we may use your personal information include:
- 1. Sending notifications or communication about: o an update on the Channel, or o relating to your subscriptions, or o any promotional offers o service updates o participation in any time-bound feature on the Channel e.g., Survey, Poll.
- 2. Providing customized feed of contents on the Channel.
Right to access and update personal information
While personal information is maintained by Regsus, you will be able to access some of your personal information to review, update, and correct the inaccuracies. Since personal information (e.g., Email Address) is required to use the service, we retain personal information as long as your account is active.
Please note that some of the information may remain in our records even after your request for account deletion. Additionally, there may be limits to the amount of information we can practically provide.
Sharing personal information
Regsus may disclose your personal information to

- ii. Affiliates
- iii. Other related companies, respective employees/directors.
- iv. Service Providers for delivering, improving, and customizing the website.
Your personal information may be disclosed without providing you with a choice in this regard, to comply with the law, protect against fraud or respond to the context of litigation.
In addition, if Regsus sells the whole or part of its business or makes a sale or transfer of assets you must agree to Regsus on the transfer of your personal information to a third party as part of that transaction.
In order to promote the Channel, Regsus may enter into an agreement with various industry associations, councils, and other bodies. We may share your personal information with them as far as the confidentiality of data is kept in line with this policy.
Regsus will not provide personal information to third parties, other than those covered in the paragraphs above, without your consent.

Regsus has administrative and technical safeguards in place to help protect the personal information that we collect. While we take reasonable and appropriate steps to ensure the safety of your personal information, we can’t guarantee their safety in an absolute sense.

Regsus will retain your personal information as needed, to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. We will retain and use your personal information as necessary to comply with our business requirements, and legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect our assets, and enforce our agreements.

The Channel uses Google Analytics to analyze its access and usage. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies, which are stored on users' computers. The information generated relating to our website is used to create reports. Google will store and use this information.
